Respondents were invited to take part in the consultation by completing the online questionnaire provided in English. However, it was possible to submit contributions in any official EU language. See the questions that were asked.

Objective of the consultation

The consultation forms part of the mid-term evaluation of the third programme for the Union's action in the field of health (2014-2020). The objective of the consultation is to ensure that, in addition to the organisations and individuals directly involved in or benefitting from the activities of the Programme, wider stakeholder groups as well as the general public have a say in its performance and future priorities.

The results of the public consultation will be used together with the other evidence to inform the mid-term evaluation of the Third Health Programme. The European Commission will publish a Staff Working Document, including a summary of the results of the consultation, by mid-2017.
