Public consultation on the SCCS preliminary opinion on the antimicrobial resistance effect of triclosan

The SCCS undertook a public consultation on the basis of a preliminary opinion.

Interested parties were invited to submit comments or pertinent scientific information by 26 May 2010.

The final opinion on the Triclosan - Antimicrobial resistance was adopted by the SCCS during the 7th plenary meeting of 22 June 2010.
