Public feedback on the draft secondary legislation relating to systems of traceability and security features for tobacco products, as provided for under Articles 15 and 1

Draft secondary legislation relating to the establishment and operation of the systems of traceability and security features for tobacco products, as provided for under Articles 15 and 16 of Directive 2014/40/EU, has now been published for public feedback on the European Commission website. Titles of the draft acts as well, as relevant links to submit feedback, are listed below:

• DRAFT COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) …/... on technical standards for the establishment and operation of a traceability system for tobacco products
• DRAFT COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) …/... on key elements of data storage contracts to be concluded as part of a traceability system for tobacco products
• DRAFT COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING DECISION (EU) …/… on technical standards for security features applied to tobacco products

It will be possible to submit feedback for a period of 4 weeks, until 2 October 2017. All feedback will be published and it will be possible to choose whether or not personal/organisational details are included.
