The EHDS Platform is a central access point to IT systems currently being developed by the Commission to fulfil the provisions of the EHDS Regulation.
The HealthData@EU Central Platform is a central part of the federated digital services for the secondary use of data and it allows:
- searching and filtering the EU Dataset Catalogue
- submitting data access/request application to apply for the access to health data.
The EU Database of EHR systems and wellness applications allows:
- searching the Database of systems registered in the EU
- registering the EHR system and wellness application to be able to place it in the EU market
- getting access to the European Digital Testing Environment and Member States digital testing environments to test the interoperability requirements of the EHR system before putting it on the EU market.
European digital testing environment for EHR systems:
- European digital testing environments will provide automated testing to verify compliance of harmonised software components of EHR systems with the EHDS Regulation
- manufacturers must use these environments to assess harmonised software components before placing EHR systems on the market
- assessment results must be included in the technical documentation.
