AMR One Health Network

On 26 October 2018, the EU AMR One-Health Network, chaired by the European Commission, met for the third time in Brussels. The Network discussed the recently adopted European Parliament report on AMR, as well as the outcome of the last survey conducted by WHO, FAO and OIE in the context of the monitoring of the Global Action Plan on AMR.

The Commission presented the AMR-related provisions of the forthcoming legislation on veterinary medicinal products and medicated feed. In addition, government experts of Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands and France presented their AMR action plans and activities. The Commission services and the EU scientific agencies updated the Network on their respective activities in the field of AMR.
