4 May - EU Health Award Ceremony
The EU Health Policy Platform annual meeting took place on 4 and 5 May 2022.
The 2021 EU Health Award Ceremony took place on 4 May where the winners of the 2021 EU Health Award were announced. This year two different subjects were awarded.
The Award on cancer prevention was open to cities, NGOs or other civil society organisations, and educational institutions. The Award on mental health impact of COVID-19 was open to local authorities and affiliated organisations, and NGOs and other not-for-profit organisations active in health or other policy areas at national, regional or local level.

5 May – Stakeholders’ dialogue
The 5 May session was fully dedicated to Stakeholders’ activities, mainly the 2021 Thematic Networks. Three different stakeholder organisations presented their findings on three different health areas and invited participants to collaborate and endorse the Joint Statements:
- Climate and health education in Europe by the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region
- Towards an inclusive and equitable pharmaceutical strategy for the EU by European Association of Health Law's Interest Group on Supranational Biolaw
- Integrated Nutrition Cancer Care by the European Nutrition Health Alliance
These presentation were followed by a Q&A and a roundtable where the audience could interact with speakers and discuss about EU health priorities and the EU Health Policy Platform
