11th FH Week and World Heart Day

During the daily awareness event, participants have their lipid panel measured from capillary blood using the POCT method, along with their blood glucose level, waist circumference, and blood pressure. A specialist physician on site immediately assesses cardiovascular risk. 

If familial hypercholesterolemia or another serious condition is detected, the patient is referred for further evaluation via the optimal care pathway. 800+ people are typically screened and educated.
