Ahead of World Heart Day (29 September 2026), Commissioner for Health and Animal Welfare will host a Youth Policy Dialogue on cardiovascular health.
The overall aim of this Youth Policy Dialogue is to bring young people’s perspectives into the Safe Hearts Plan, particularly regarding cardiovascular disease prevention, health literacy, tobacco and alcohol, healthy lifestyles, social determinants and inequalities, and meaningful youth participation in health policymaking.
The Youth Policy Dialogue is taking place during the Portorož Youth Health Forum, organised by The International Youth Health Organization.
