Commission invites stakeholders and EU representatives to join conference on young cancer survivors on 7 February

The European Commission announces that the “Addressing the Needs of Young Cancer Survivors” conference will take place on 7 February in Brussels and online.

As part of the EU Mission on Cancer, this conference aims to put a face on the quality of life for survivors of childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood cancer by offering the possibility to share their experiences.

The overarching goal of the EU Mission on Cancer is to improve the lives of more than 3 million people by 2030 through prevention, cure and for those affected by cancer including their families, to live longer and better. To achieve its ambitious goals, the EU Mission on Cancer is working hand in hand with the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.

This hybrid event will help further shape initiatives and the R&I agenda around cancer survivorship and youth by offering the opportunity for stakeholders and representatives from EU institutions to interact with young cancer survivors from all Member States.
