Description of this webinar:

The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the limits of health systems' ability to adapt to external shocks and emphasised the need to further develop resilient health systems. This webinar marks the end of the third term of the Expert Panel and will scan future horizons on key health policy challenges.

The webinar addressed the following questions, building on recent Opinions published by the Expert Panel:

  • How can health systems support the mental health of health workers and other workers at a time of crisis in the EU?
  • What is the impact of post-COVID-19 condition (also known as "long COVID") on EU health systems?
  • What strategies can countries implement to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR) within and across the EU?

Short introductory presentations by Expert Panel members and by invited speakers were followed by an interactive discussion with the audience.
