Description of this webinar:

As part of our Joint Statement’s cross-sectoral approach, this webinar presented a unique stakeholders’ roundtable discussion that intends to amplify the voices of key population groups and their respective experiences with healthcare in the EU.

A dialogue of this nature contributes to understanding the impact and influence of health inequalities as part of intersectional, lived experiences; and allows us to formulate measured specificity on the use of AI-driven technologies in capacity building, resource pooling, knowledge transfer and exchange, and meaningful engagement with communities that we hope for health AI to serve.

Beyond our Joint Statement’s synergies with the existing EU AI regulatory framework, this cross-sectoral approach vis-à-vis the lens of fundamental rights added richness in reflecting on the wider regulatory conviviality with policy dimensions and recommendations.

We kindly invite you to navigate through the EU Health Policy Platform (registration required) and check the Thematic Network on “Navigating Health Inequalities in the EU through Artificial Intelligence” led by Brunel Centre for AI and Health Action International initial proposals.
