Recording - EUHPP Live Webinar: 2024 Thematic Networks - Towards an EU Coordination Plan for the Brain: Voices from the Community (7 November 2024)

In response to the European Commission's invitation to stakeholders to make a proposal under its next cycle of Thematic Networks under the EU Health Policy Platform (EU HPP), the European Brain Council (EBC), its members and allies launched the Thematic Network Towards an EU Coordination Plan for the Brain'. This Thematic Network aims to unite stakeholders from across the brain community to develop policy recommendations for a comprehensive European Brain Health, Research and Innovation Plan.

On November 7, 2024, the European Brain Council held an EU Health Policy Platform Webinar to present a draft version of its Joint Statement, built from the insights gathered during both the previous webinar and the consultation period.

This Joint Statement is structured around 3 objectives:
1. Reach a consensus on defining Brain Health and Brain Capital,
2. Make policy recommendations supporting the development of a European Brain Health and Brain Research and Innovation Plan,
3. Forge long-lasting cooperation between the Thematic Network partners to continue collaboration beyond the Network.
