Updated dental amalgam factsheet published

This newly updated factsheet is based on the final opinion on dental amalgam, as adopted by the Scientific Committee on Health and Environmental Risks in March 2014.

In this section, some of the opinions of the European Commission's non-food Scientific Committees are presented in a format and language which can be easily understood by non-specialists.

The reader can choose between short and easy to read science factsheets (1 page) and web summaries which go more into depth. Both publications are written in layman language. As such, even non-specialist readers can become familiar with the issues addressed and the conclusions reached by the Scientific Committees.
