PERCH aims to help achieve the World Health Organisation objective of vaccinating at least 90% of girls and, if possible, boys against human papillomavirus (HPV) by the age of 15.

Cancers caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) are preventable, but HPV vaccine uptake in central and eastern and southern Europe is low. ReThinkHPVaccination aims to reduce vaccination inequalities through communication and assessement.

EU-CAYAS-NET is a project led by patient advocates under one of the flagship initiatives of Europe´s Beating Cancer Plan to build a European Network of Youth Cancer Survivors and to create a knowledge centre and interactive platform for social networking.

eCAN explores the role of teleconsultation and remote monitoring in cancer patients with clinical trials. With stakeholder engagement, eCAN will help the harmonization of telemedicine in cancer care in the EU. Outcomes will be assessed for their sustainability and integration into national policies.

The EU is pioneering a brand new approach to inter-specialty cancer training via the INTERACT-EUROPE programme. The programme sets the foundation for a comprehensive curriculum of learning that will in the future be accessible to any cancer centre in any EU country.

JANE is a Joint Action to establish 7 new Networks of Expertise in the cancer field in the challenging domains of personalized primary prevention; survivorship; palliative care; omic technologies; hi-tech medical resources; complex & poor-prognosis cancer(s); adolescents and young adults with cancer

CanScreen-ECIS aims to develop & pilot a new screening data management system to be integrated to European Cancer Information System (ECIS). The project will refine existing cancer screening indicators and will suggest new ones for lung cancer. It will pave the way for 3rd European Screening Report.

BUMPER aims to develop the EU Mobile App for Cancer Prevention. This will use evidence-based approaches focussing on risk factors and preventive measures for a broad and diverse target population. It seeks to increase adherence to the preventive measures endorsed by the European Code Against Cancer.
