To complement the public consultation on the preliminary Opinion 'The need for non-human primates in biomedical research, production and testing of products and devices (update 2017)', the Scientific Committee on Health, Environmental and Emerging and Risks (SCHEER) organised a public hearing in Luxembourg on 14 March 2017. The aim of the public hearing was to gather specific comments, explanations or contributions to the scientific basis of the Opinion.
