The continuous monitoring of the ERNs is based on a single data collection per year, in March, covering the period January to December of the previous year.
The indicators collected are defined in the ERN data collection manual.
This framework is key to building a quality improvement system, measuring appropriate outcomes for the ERNs, identifying areas of success and potential pitfalls, and demonstrating ERNs' added value.
