Board of Member States
The Board of Member States (BoMS), as laid out in the Commission Implementing Decision 2014/287/EU of 10 March 2014, was set up on 5 February 2014.

The main tasks of the BoMS are:
- approval of Network proposals and healthcare providers' membership applications;
- approval of healthcare providers wishing to join an existing network;
- termination of a Network (evaluation)
- decision on loss of membership
Coordinators Group
Each ERN has a coordinator, and all coordinators are gathered within the ERN Coordinators Group (ERN-CG), establishing a common ground on several key technical and organisational aspects of the Networks activities.

ERN Hospital Managers
ERN Hospital Managers Advisory Group (HMAG)consists of the representatives of national hospitals participating in an ERN, with the role of a coordinator for the other national hospitals participating in the ERN system.
