Report
On 11 and 12 April 2013, the first meeting of the newly appointed Scientific Committees took place in Luxembourg.
The scientists were appointed for a three-year term and will provide the Commission with independent scientific advice on issues relating to consumer safety, public health and the environment.
They were welcomed by Paola Testori Coggi, Director General for Health and Consumers - European Commission and Mars di Bartolomeo, Minister of Health of Luxembourg (first picture below).
