Beating Cancer Inequalities in the EU: Spotlight on cancer prevention and early detection

On 31 January 2024 the analytical report “Beating Cancer Inequalities in the EU: Spotlight on prevention and early detection” was published.

This third milestone of the European Cancer Inequalities Registry completes the first cycle of the initiative, complementing the work already achieved through the Data Tool and the Country Cancer Profiles. The report examines policies and actions to tackle cancer care across the EU 27, Norway and Iceland, with a specific focus on addressing prevention and early diagnosis to counter concerning cancer trends and inequalities.

The analytical reports will be published biennially, with a next edition in 2026.
