The 2021 EU Health Award honours NGOs, and educational institutions seeking to promote communication and health literacy on cancer prevention among children and young people (from 6 to 24 years old) and community-based initiatives alleviating the mental health impact of COVID-19.
Within the general context of the EU Health Policy Platform, the European Commission has launched the 2021 EU Health Award, to recognise and encourage innovative initiatives that promote public health.
Please read these rules carefully before submitting an initiative for the EU Health Award.
The EU Health Award is funded through the EU4Health Programme. The initiatives submitted are evaluated against a pre-established criteria.
The Jury for the 2021 EU Health Award has already been appointed and is made up of experts in the field of public health.
This Award is open to cities, NGOs or other civil society organisations, and educational institutions who are promoting communication and health literacy on cancer prevention.
This Award is open to community-based initiatives working to alleviate the mental health impact of COVID-19.
